James Brede started producing music with the vision of proving commercial, career changing recordings are possible at realistic prices.  His debut full length production proved the philosophy correct, with This Burning Age receiving rave reviews from critics and fans alike, as well as aiding the band in gaining a support slot at The Academy in Birmingham for UK scene legends 'Hundred Reasons'. Leading West Midlands rock legend Emma Scott has become a huge fan, and the band are set to play a second lucrtive 'Emma Scott Presents' show in 2010.

To prove this was not just a fluke, James' second full long player earned Crimson Joy an immediate record deal with indie label Red Monster Records and critical acclaim from leading lights in the industry. Again, the band came to the attention of Emma Scott, with Crimson Joy on the bill for another 'Emma Scott Presents' show.

Radio airplay has also been prevalent with This Burning Age, Crimson Joy, The Vants, Red Lite Run and others receiving airtime.

James launched his own record label with flagship acquisition 'From The Get Go' signing at the start of 2010. The first 6 months has seen them supporting established acts such as Cars On Fire, Me Vs Hero, Fracesqa and Twenty Twenty at the 02 Academy 2 Birmingham. They are currently cutting their debut EP with James.

The studio relocated to its current refurbished 2000 sq ft unit on Wolverhampton's Ring Road in June 2010. This added a 900 sq ft rehearsal studio / live events room to the services available, along with a new recording studio, art and design studio and teaching room. Our monthly gig night 'Bullet Point', sucessfully launched in January 2011, promoting talent from around the Midlands.
